Full Service Procedure.

During a full service it is our aim to restore your timepiece to as close to its original functional and aesthetic standard as possible, whilst retaining its history and sentimental value.

Assessment and Estimate:

All watches will first be inspected by one of our skilled watchmakers to assess the work required. Once fully inspected, we will discuss the proposed repairs, timescales and costs with you before completing the repairs.

Dismantling and Cleaning:

Once the estimate has been approved, the case and movement will be disassembled. Each component will undergo further examination and a thorough cleaning in one of our ultrasonic baths.

Re-assembly and Lubrication:

During the reassembly of the movement our watchmaker will replace any worn components. All points of lubrication will be restored and any necessary adjustments made to the watch, in accordance with the brands expectations.

Case and Bracelet Refurbishment:

We will then refinish and polish both the case and bracelet, restoring the original appearance back to the watch.

Water Resistance Testing:

The case and bracelet will then be fully reassembled and undergo pressure tests to ensure that the case meets the waterproofing depths required by the manufacturer.

Quality Control:

The movement is then refitted into its case, and precision tested before any final adjustments are made, thus ensuring the accuracy and performance of your watch.
